Rollin is a tough one, you'll either love his stuff or hate it. I'd say wait until GRAPES OF DEATH gets a release and then go from there as its his most accessible work. In my teens/twenties I didn't like him at all, but in fairness I was all about gore/comedy horror and gritty 70's movies. Now I'm in my thirties I've revisited the rollin films with these redemption blus and enjoyed them a lot more, perhaps i'm actually becoming more mature in my tastes? Most of his vampire stuff is dream like and symbolism heavy, they do require a bit of attention and focus to be appreciated but if you can stick with them they are very rewarding films.

Yeah I only ever tried one film (can't remember the title) and hated it. Not been back to the Rollin well since . . .

Just a couple of DVD bargains for me today from CEX, Black Sheep & Cherry Falls for £1.50 and £1 respectively.
Got a lot of pre-orders in for the end of the month so I'm watching my pennies until Student Loan Day on the 28th
