Just preordered

Scanners steel book
Subspecies 3
Pit and the pendulum
Baron blood
Black sabbath
Dollman

All on blu ray.

Really good choices – I'm going to pre-order the Scanners Steelbook and haven't yet bought the Subspecies BDs.

Just ordered this bizarre looking film starring Men Behaving Badly's Neil Morrissey and CP30. Anyone else seen it? It looks crazy!

Love me a 'good' obscure killer vehicle movie - hopefully it'll be in the same silly vein as Killdozer

Yes, I had the VHS back in the day and was quite a fan. It's actually pretty good fun. And there's a scene with a talking turd.

And I even had that quad once upon a time!

Ha - that sounds amazing, Delirium! It looks like a cross between an early Peter Jackson film and Bloodbath At The House Of Death

I only just heard of it (from John Landis' Monsters Of The Movies book). Is it quite an unknown film or have I just been missing out all this time?!

Delirium 30th March 2013 08:47 PM

I think it's relatively unknown and disappeared into obscurity. Back then I used to rent everything horror wise and my local vid shop would give me posters for free. I ended up buying the ex-rental video as it's a lot of fun. Certainly better than I expected it to be.

I may have to see it again, as I certainly have rose-tinted memories, and it was over 20 years ago! I never even knew it was on DVD!

Got my winnings from Second Sight today - Scanners trilogy over a week before they're due to be released. Nice.

I saw this years go on Sky Movies and bought it recently on DVD when I saw it cheap. It's a lot of fun and holds up quite well even now.

Surprisingly, there are a few extras on the DVD too so it's well worth picking up
