I've never read McCarthy but I must say I'm intrigued judging from the praise here, Once I've finished this behemoth of a Game of Thrones book (still got 50+ chapters to go!) I'll check him out, any suggestions where I should start?

If you don't want to read a book which has been made into a film such as The Road or No Country for Old Men, you should buy The Border Trilogy, which contains three excellent novels (All the Pretty Horses, The Crossing and Cities of the Plain). You can buy it at Amazon for £7.92, which is great value.

I have, apparently that's being adapted but I'm not sure how that will work. It's probably the most violent book I've ever read. After I finished it, it took me a while to pick up another book as part of me was still in the old west.

My Evil Aliens DVD arrived earlier, absolute mint condition for 99p, I'll give a spin when I get back from band practice tonight, see if it's as much fun on second viewing

Just preordered the limited edition of Season 3 of the Walking Dead, it looks like a stunning boxset!

I'd love that, but it's locked and far too expensive for me :(

I now have 3 versions of the film for some reason.

This is a nice edition. I have owned mine for about 5 or 6 years and just last year most of the blood had evaporated. A bit disappointing but your right it is still very cool:cool:

Received Zombies vs Strippers and Subspecies III today. As suspected, no red case with ZvS, and no reversible cover with the original version of the artwork (2nd picture below). Nothing wrong with the UK art though.
