Yeah it's in the 101 Horror films You Must See Before You Did book. That and a Japanese horror/ghost film from the '60's (Ominiba or something like that) both seem excellent and I'll buy them next month.

Maybe this offers an explanation.
"Filmed between May and June 1980, Inseminoid is based on a script written by Nick and Gloria Maley, a couple who had contributed to the special effects of Warren's films starting with Satan's Slave (1976). A low budget of £1 million, half of which was contributed by the Hong Kong Shaw Brothers, funded location filming in both the Chislehurst Caves in Kent and on the island of Gozo in Malta."

Local 2nd hand shop had this for £3, I must be spoiled because my first thought was 'nice... but £3 is a bit much' needless to say I gave myself a slap and went in and bought it.
