Todays bargain from charity shop....

THE THICK OF IT: SERIES 4!

Looking forward to more sweary fun with Peter Capaldi as Malcom tucker.

Though that last series was probably the weakest, it was still chock full of great moments. Capaldi's final scenes as Tucker, as he battles for a 'dignified exit' is tv gold, hilarious and oddly moving . . .

I don't know if it was any stronger or weaker than the previous series – it certainly felt extremely real in its portrayal of the government and opposition, plus the inquiry episode was written and broadcast at such a time I wasn't sure if it was art imitating life or the other way round!

Latest acquisitions - can anyone guess why I imported 'The Master' rather than getting the UK edition?

They really need to sort this out.
Edinburgh HMV had the majority of them yesterday for under a tenner apiece.

Yeah, I think a lot of the older ones are cheap. But these two are stubbornly holding out.

But like Chuck Norris, I can wait..
