From what someone was saying on the shoutbox, they saw copies in HMV earlier in the week - although yes, its official release is today. Maybe HMV had pre-release rights of some sort?

I'm sure you'll enjoy it, I did (but don't tell everybody else, shhh) and everyone that has seen it so far seems to like it. Don't eat hot dogs while watching it though, especially ginger furry hot dogs.
