From the British Heart Foundation Shop I escaped with "The Devil's Backbone" for £1.99.

When you top that list off with a couple of Farside books for £4 it has been a jolly good day!
Love 'Dr Terror", like 'White Zombie', 'The Devil's Backbone' is a good film too.
'Manimal' that was practically stealing u lucky dog you!!!, wanted to pick this up when it came out but seemed pretty expensive. I liked it a lot when i was a kid but also thought it may not have aged well by modern standards, you'll have to tell us your opinion once you've revisited it.
i'm a fan of Farside too, very surreal and intelligent but also very funny.
A good haul u got there mate.

Prince of Darkness (1987) (Dutch Kinowelt)

Salvation Army Charity Shop, Rob, and yes it was the only one. To tell the truth if there had been any more DVDs that I wanted in there I would have still been there at midnight tonight with the two old dears serving me. They were hilarious but very slow and fumbling! (No they weren't fumbling me , I don't know the perverts they let on this forum nowadays, sheesh)!

Is that Postman flick a sequel to Kevin Costner's atrocity by any chance?
Quite like Prince of Darkness although a lot of people don't rate it much.

I really liked them, both sadly both only last one season might watch tales of the golden monkey at the weekend, sometime since I've seen it.
