Mostly very poor quality and some of 'em don't actually qualify as Sci-fi just as generic "adventure stories". I will persevere!

I've heard good things of "Red". You'll have to give us your view of it later, or if you're feeling really mean you could try selling us your view!

My Runaway Train BD finally arrived from Amazon and from Poundland, I picked up Not Quite Hollywood and Emperor of the North, the latter of which would make a good locomotive themed double bill with 'Runaway Train'.

You could do worse than watch it and report it here: http://www.cult-labs.com/forums/horr...-features.html

Red is a very good action film, lots of fun. Malkovich, Mirren, Willis, Cox etc seem to be having a blast.

One of my favourite action films of the last few years.

Not quite Hollywood is a cracking documentary. It's entertaining and informative, what I liked about it is even the people that hated the sort of films the documentary covered fought their corner, it's much more balanced as a result. Great buy for £1.
