Well, watched the Blu-ray of New York Ripper and it looked and sounded phenomenal. The picture quality is breathtaking, looks like it was filmed yesterday. Absolute knockout. It was like seeing the film for the first time, something I've only experienced previously when viewing a DVD after having only seen the VHS. I can unreservedly recommend this Blu-ray. It will never look better than this. Period.

I'll definitely be picking up further Blue Underground Blu-rays without hesitation.

Wasn't there some problem with the Blue Underground release of New York Ripper with a certain sequence being in the wrong place in the film? Something which the AWE DVD release apparently put right.I've heard BU's Blu-ray of The Living Dead at Manchester Morgue looks great! It would be fantastic if BU could release Blu-ray's of Zombie and Mark of the Devil too.

Swordsman Trilogy (Dutch Film Works,R2)

Tricky one, that scene that everyone says is in the wrong place. Some say it shouldn't be there, whilst others say it should because that was put there for the intermission break. So...I've no idea. The film seemed to play out perfectly fine to me.

I'd advise all fans of Living Dead at the Manchester Morgue to get the Blu-Ray, it looks stunning.
