Excellent stuff. All Fritz Lang's Silents are well worth investigating, and his film noirs are great too. Dark, violent stuff...

Received my first region A blu today:

Mr. Sardonicus (1961) / Brotherhood of Satan, The (1971) - Double Feature (Mill Creek) -- Blu-ray

Unfortunately I'm unable to play it for the moment as I swapped my (2007) Sony Vaio laptop VGN-AR51J (fully working with Vista and bd drive) for a co-worker's 2010 Asus laptop K72JR (not, but hopefully soon, working with Windows 7 and dvd-drive)...seems there's a hard drive problem (dropped it).

I removed the bd drive though (so he got a nice dvd drive) and will be getting a external enclosure for it (it's pata and my new laptop only has a sata port for the optical drive,it also only fits a slim drive).

Currently waiting for a new ssd (my first btw) to arrive so I can re-install Windows 7 and all the drivers/firmware.

Yep, I hear ya... I think Amazon will give you the cheapest price it falls when you pre-order something... at least I think that's the case. I have a Grateful Dead CD/DVD boxset (not due out til late Sept.) in my cart at the moment and it shot up by 8 bucks over night so I'm watching that like a hawk to catch it if it comes down again. I should have grabbed it at the cheap price first day...

I've been meaning to pick this one up for awhile. Found a good deal on it and couldn't resist.
