I'm the same in regards to 3D.

A gimmick that has gone on far too long, in my opinion. They're just milking it for all it's worth until they finally unveil holographic TVs. ;)

I do feel the same about 3d but there are some films which it works but most don't need it, and I ended up getting a 3d tv as it was on special and had better specs than the one I was going to get and it was even a bit cheaper, so I should get some 3d movies as it feels like I've only bought half a tv, but I do think its a bit of a fad and will be dead in a couple of years

The spiral.

An interesting film its actually the OFFICIAL sequel to Ringu, unlike Ringu 2 that was also directed by Hideo nakata Spiral follows the novel where Ringu 2 was a sequel to the screen adaptation. It's not as good as Ringu or Ringu 2, mainly because Hideo nakata is a great filmmaker who knew what changes the story needed to work on the screen. That said its still an interesting watch.

Evil Dead Trap.

Cut in the UK, Evil Dead trap is an 80's made for video shocker made to cash in on the brutal horrors coming from America. A film crew head out to an abandoned building out in the middle of nowhere investigating an alleged 'snuff' tape. It's fairly nasty and has some rape and gore in it. That said if you can stomach it its not bad and certainly not as nasty as some more modern horrors.

UZUMAKI. (the Vortex)

Based on the gloriously twisted manga by Junji Ito the film actually does a decent job of translating his weird vision to the screen. While its hard to imagine anyone nailing Ito's work in Live action this is the closest i've seen. It follows a small town where people become obsessed with spirals and goes full body horror as the townsfolk actually start to become their obsession. Its probably my personal favorite on the set.

Just found out the scream factory release of Cockneys vs Zombies has TWO audio commentary's not on the UK release.

This teaches me not to be a mug in future and try and support low budget British Horror by buying the discs from the UK. Won't be making that mistake in future. :mmph:
