just received scream factorys day of the dead, prince of darkness ad psycho II & III day of the dead has a feature length making of extra which is fantastic and watching prince of darkness on blu-ray really pulls you into the film like never before. Off to give Norman Bates a spin now |

For me the best thing on the disc is the making of feature which is around 80 mins long and interviews nearly everyone and even has the actors redoing their best lines. The documentary is outstanding and a great insight into the making of the film. There is also a fair bit of behind the scenes footage from Tom Savinis archives Overall I'm happy with it and prefer it over the Arrow disc and I do think it looks better but on transfer alone, as good as it is, it's not shockingly better. |
Along with the books bought on my little shopping trip to Waterlooville (see http://www.cult-labs.com/forums/367451-post109.html if y' can be bothered) I found "The Presence" (2010) £1.99 http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...7L._SY445_.jpg ...a "darkly romantic ghost story" according to IMDB AND "Bangkok Haunted" (2001) £1.00 http://asia.cinemaland.net/poster/bangkok-haunted.jpg ... which I seem to remember wanting to see when it first came out! In Waterlooville's finest emporium, Poundland I copped hold of... "The Banquet" (2006) http://img.fdb.cz/obrazky/94e5c1578b...6f0a356fe9.jpg "Operation Condor" (1991) http://cdn-2.cinemaparadiso.co.uk/040504012658_h.jpg AND The wonderfully titled "KFZ: Kentucky Fried Zombies" 2009 http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-GKAHQ56v4H...p+hnmovies.jpg Die-ner (Get It?) - according to IMDB YUM YUM, can't wait! |
