No one seems to rate that, but i have it and its the only version i've seen and enjoyed it a lot.

Yeah, saw it ages ago, I thought it was proper stark science fiction (it looked nowhere near as good as this dvd does too)

I really enjoyed it. The CGI shark is terrible at times but it has good production values, a great location, and a rubber shark for close ups.

When Brooke Hogan walks towards the camera it tended to send me into a trance.

Sounds good to me, I think I'll nudge it up the 'to watch' pile.

Albert Road in Southsea today was a desert in the charity shop DVD dept. So, to feed my hunger for viewing material I wandered down to Southsea's main shopping area, Palmerston Road and immediately hit pay dirt in the Barnardo's with "Ulysses 31: The Complete series" for £1.99! I used to love this back in the 80s but I don't think I ever saw it all!

Next stop The Rowan's Hospice shop and picked up the OZ-PLOITATION flick "Dead Kids" for £2, "Sexy Killer" for £2 and "Bram Stoker's Dracula" for £2 (haven't seen this since it first hit the cinema, I hope I still like it).

Round the corner in the British Heart Foundation shop I found a sealed copy of "Monty Python and the Holy Grail: Extraordinarily De Luxe Edition" for £4 and "Creature from the Haunted Sea" for 99p.

All in all a thoroughly enjoyable days trawling in the charity shops and now I feel all self righteous 'cos I spent my money in them!

Smug :censored: aren't I?

I think I should send you a warning before you watch this film:

Don't watch this film. It's one of the worst films I've seen in quite a while. It's also the whitest and bleakest film I've ever seen. Nothing actually happens in it until the last ten minutes. It is well acted though. It was a waste of 80 minutes of my life (the longest 80 minutes ever, by the way!) it's just another one of those reasons to dilsike George Lucas even more. But to each their own. Those are just my opinions.

I bought Christopher Nolan's remake of Insomnia on blu-ray last night while I killed time in town waiting to see Gravity. Does anybody know if the original is available on blu-ray anywhere? I had the Criterion DVD some time ago, but gave it up when I cleared out my DVD's.
