 10,000 BC (2008) Just something missing from this otherwise it killed a couple of hours! On a side note Bluray player seems to be on the verge of giving up the ghost! After yesterdays World War Z problems my player has started freezing on a few other things. Tried cleaning but to no avail so its a new player! Any suggestions? I'm after a 3D model I'm using a Sony player at the moment BDP S1100 which was a freebie from Amazon due to my LG model no longer able to stream lovefilm.

Went into the local CEX today and boy was I glad that I did. First, I got the box set of the first season of Aufweidersehen, Pet (my favourite tv show ever) and then while scouring the shelves I did a double take. It took me a couple of seconds to a take it in. There, in front of me was only the Anchor Bay 25th anniversary steel book of The Long Good Friday! Not only that, it was pristine. To say I snatched it off the shelf was an understatement. I knew there was a second bonus disc, but I had forgotten about the soundtack being included on cd. I've been kicking myself of years about not buying it when it came out, so I'm over the moon about getting it. The ultimate edition of my favourite uk crime film. Btw, all discs from both purchaces are unblemished and the best thing of all I got the pair of them for the princely sum of £10.

This arrived from Taiwan.  Dragon Gate Inn aka Dragon Inn (1966) (Hoker Records) Been curious for some time about the King Hu version,love the Raymond Lee/Tsui Hark version.

Just noticed the Network release of Carnival of Souls with the Kim Newman commentary on Amazon for around £1.50 delivered.  Zoverstocks had better send me that version and not some crappy Elstree Hill release.  |

Anybody else think arrow should do a special edition of 'Carnival of souls', it's one of my favourites.
