Small hard-boxes of Nightmare in a Damaged Brain and Mosquito der Schander. I'm intrigued how Nightmares compares to the CR 3 disc set.

So I was back in the U.K. last weekend for Fright Fest and took the opportunity to visit FOPP and HMV which yielded the following films on blu-ray:

Taken 2
The dark knight rises
Prometheus
Aftershock (which I saw at the Glasgo Frightfest earlier in the year)
Zombie Hunter (which I enjoyed at Fantasia and again at Fantasy Film Fest)
Bring Me the Head of Machine Gun Woman (another from Glasgow Fright Fest)
All Super Heroes Must Die (which I saw under the alternate title Vs. in 2011 at Toronto After Dark)

and The Body which is the only one I haven"t seen previously.

While I was away Arrow also sent me People Under the Stairs

I haven't seen the film I ordered from Amazon this week since it was screened originally in 1973-4. I loved it then and the film that supported it, "Phase 4", but my tastes have matured somewhat since my early teens. I am so glad that it has finally been given a dvd release here in the UK and I hope that I am going to enjoy it as much now as I did then.

Am I right in thinking that this is still the only Michael Moorcock story that ended up as a film? Not that that matters as the film bears little resemblance to the book, if memory serves...

Almost f'got... for those who can't get piccies it's "The Final Programme" and was made when the future looked a lot like the seventies!

I hope it lives up to all our expectations then, my friend! It is forty years old now!

I don't know yet. Arroe haven't been responding to my emails. They've taken my money though so I'm assuming they're sending me something.

I'm not that familiar with Vances work. I do have the Dying Earth saga though. I picked this one up a few months back but haven't got round to reading it yet.

The Tarzan volume is worth getting to if you're into those stories. I was surprised just how much I enjoyed them.

Particularly the original novel.
