You'll be waiting a long time! It's a public domain film so it wouldn't make much business sense for a company to release a deluxe edition of this one anymore. The closest you'll get is the R1 Millennium Edition DVD which has some great special features.

I have that one for the extras and the blu for the print...

I'd also like to see someone finally do a definitive blu release for NOTLD. And given other films in the public domain have had reasonable releases I can't see why a film so important shouldn't get one. Even James White has said in that Home Cinema magazine interview from a while back has said it's one film he doesn't believe had even been restored properly yet and it's something he'd like to be involved in.
Anyways got this last night

I imported the American release because the UK is being shafted - missing out on the visual commentary and having a later release date.

Everything happens so fast how could they comment on it, like it first time I saw in but wasn't keen second viewing. Found that action was to fast to see what was going no real story apart from the beginning on krypton and Lois and superman meet and just fell in love ??? Still have it on order but once again dc are getting there ass kicked by marvel with movies of late

Is this an alternate universe Superman where he's gay or is he just trying to make Lois Lane jealous? ;)
