Cult Labs - What Have You Bought Recently?

Something to watch over the Christmas period.

One of my most anticipated pre-orders arrived today from Amazon Japan. At a cost of around £75 it certainly wasn't cheap but being that it's Dawn of the Dead with brand new transfers across all 3 cuts I had to consider getting it for all of about 5 seconds.

Extras are limited to a wealth of trailers for the film form all different territories and a booklet plus a handful of postcards but the purchase was worthwhile for the new prints which look far better than any previous releases.

I'm so jealous, looks great by the way!

Someone was selling it on ebay because there was a tiny tiny dent just on the opening spine, at £13 i couldn't care less about the dent, proper xmas bargain.

Finally hauled this back home today (heavy!) from work.
Got it for free as it was going to be binned,2008 Dell Inspiron 530S in what seems perfect working and cosmetic condition with all recovery discs and manual.
It also seems to have been upgraded (possibly ram/graphics card/tv tuner card).

So another project coming up... ;)

Thinking of turning this into a media center,including blu-ray region A playback as it was made to be positioned both vertically and horizontally.

Oh well,let's wait and see.
