Been meaning to buy the Blob for the last few years. Decided to go the whole hog since its my birthday on the 15th and went for the Blu-ray.

Boogeyman double billed with devonsville terror was dirt cheap thanks to Zoverstocks not checking the competition and price matching someone selling case only. Cost me about £2.50!

Pardon my ignorance but whats so special about The Boogeyman?.

I picked it up a couple of years back with Boogeyman 2 for the price of postage.

Liked this when i saw it at the cinema, like it even more since i watched it at home, trouble is makes me want to get drunk when i watch it.

Attachment 128158
Wanted to watch this because it's had good reviews but is never on brit T.V, should have got it a few weeks back but nevermind.
Looks really cheesy from the cover, but is supposed to be funny and is by Bob Clark so i thought it would be worth a watch. 50p CEX so no loss either way.

Attachment 128159

Remember not thinking much of this when it first came out ,but for 75p from CEX i thought i'd give it another go.

Attachment 128160

Always remembered this from when it first came out on vhs, but it kinda disappeared. Got a vhs to dvd copy off ebay, which unfortunately has a timecode at the top of the screen.:(
Still nevermind can always adjust screen ratio.
Anyway glad to have a copy, the first story featuring a killer mr punch was filmed locally in Eastbourne. The second story in the best and concerns a family in a new house, psychic visions and a psycho killer. The last one features killer gnomes.:loco:

This arrived today not seen it before but looks interesting and i kept meaning to pick it up. Probably give it a whirl later.:pop2:

'Undead' is just ok, but the making of doc is worth a look.

I remember that 'Screamtime' cover from the early vhs days, then it seemed to dissapear down here as well. Did you watch it recently nosferatu42?

I've heard Ghost Story is really good, and have had it in my Amazon cart a couple of times, will have to pull the trigger next time! It's the one set in India, isn't it?

nosferatu42 10th January 2014 11:02 PM

I actually watched screamtime recently on youtube but we all know what the picture quality is like on there sometimes. then saw it on ebay and thought i'd get it seeing as no ones released it anywhere. When the copy arrived i checked the quality but not watched it through again yet.

yep Ghost story is the one shot in india, looks quite creepy, ill review it once i've watched it.

I just ordered a bunch of stuff from a seller on eBay. He had a bunch of really cool stuff, all for a good price. Each of these only cost me $6. I think that's a pretty good price for each of these. Plus he gave me a great deal on postage. Each item had $4 postage on it on top of the item price but I messaged the seller about combined postage and sure then sent an invoice with postage for only $6. $1.20 for postage per movie. So in total I paid $7.20 per movie for these. Which to me isn't bad. I'm definitely okay with spending that on these titles.

My Name Is Bruce
One I've been meaning to pick up for a while. It was stupid but I enjoyed it  Plus hey, Can't really go wrong with Bruce Campbell. This one also comes with I think like a comic book or something. I don't know, But I'm happy to finally pick this one up!

Tokyo Zombie

This one I've been on the look out for, for some time now. I never really see it in stores or anything. I don't know why! But hey, I have it now.

Sukiyaki Western Django

Already own this one. Actually already own this very release from Hopscotch Entertainment. However mine doesn't have a slipcase where as this one does. This one also has some cool poster cards or lobby cards inside. Mine doesn't have that either. I'm a sucker for little nicks like that. But this will just replace my current copy.

Ichi The Killer

My favourite Takashi Miike film. I already own this one as well. I own a shitty Hong Kong dvd release of the film, which for a long time I thought was a bootleg. Still not even sure if it is or not. Also own the bloodpack edition DVD which I love for its special features but I hate the packaging. All the "blood" is dried up and the discs are now just sitting in this sticky plastic sleeve with all dried up red residue in it...and I have to like peel the plastic back before I can pull the discs out. It's awful! So that's the only reason I picked this one up. Still not sure about it though, as it doesn't have any special features or anything.

Can someone please recommend me a release for Ichi The Killer that's worth getting?
A good copy of the film with the special features that isn't in a shitty bloodpack please?
Even thinking of upgrading to BluRay for this one. I know there's a really cool German BluRay, which features a BluRay and 2 DVD's and includes special features...However subtitles are in German so that kind of ruins it.

I don't know, Someone recommend me a good Ichi The Killer release though! :pop2:
