As I have a pretty big collection of zombie figures I just picked this guy up to even up the odds.

I actually went on a shopping trip yesterday in our local town where it was in a shop priced up at £48, although very tempted to buy it there and then I waited to get home and check online and got him for £25 delivered

apparently hes the first in a new line of 10" walking dead figures

Making a deal with a Dutch collector, bread and water for the rest of the month I guess.
It's incredible but after a long dry spell, there's suddenly a lot of very rare stuff for sale at decent prices.

No no no she's wrong. The Fog is brilliant. Really atomospheric, just a gorgeous looking film and my favourite John Carpenter film. (Of those I've seen)
Event Horizon is also excellent and I really like Piranha 3D.

Thanks for all your opinions, guys :)

Hey ArgentoFan..

PRO TIP: Did you know if you add your pics as attachments (instead of embedding them as an IMG) then they will still be viewable on the thread, but won't take us half a day to scroll down. ;)

I hope you're not implying I'm one of the 'MTV generation' who likes their editing hyper-fast etc., I just have good taste that's all, Friday the 13th was an uninspired knock-off of Bay of Blood and Halloween, with nothing to recommend about it. My parents thought Friday the 13th was shit back when it came out too ;)

bizarre_eye@Cult Labs 2nd February 2014 02:19 PM

Yeah, I'm not a fan of Friday 13th (or the entire franchise either). To me they are nothing more than forgettable, generic slasher fodder - except Jason X, which at least tried to be a little more original and different and as a consequence was at least fairly entertaining.

There are so many much more interesting and under-seen slasher films out there that don't get even half the love as the Friday franchise does.

Nosferatu@Cult Labs 2nd February 2014 02:25 PM

I also find the Friday the 13th films to be some of the weaker and most generic of the late 1970s and '80s slashers when compared to the likes of Halloween, The Burning, Black Christmas, and the Italian gialli such as, like you said, A Bay of Blood.
