I love skinned deep. I stuck a review up on Amazon marketplace about it. Warwick davis kills people by throwing plates at them.

The Demons steelys showed up. A definite improvement over the Arrow releases in terms of Content and picture. Colors look more vivid and image is better overall. That said if your grumbling about the release the Arrow version is still decent quality in my eyes and given the expense and rarity of the synapse releases I can't really urge people to rush out and buy them (unless they live in America) unless they are hardcore Demons fans with region free players. Had these been the standard price of other synapse releases and easier to obtain I'd be more keen on saying ditch the Arrow discs... anyhoo I'm getting back to watching them....

I really enjoyed "The Devil's Backbone". It is set in the Spanish Civil War, like "Pan's Labyrinth", and looks at the darker side of humanity from the view of children. Good film, Rik.

I really liked 'The Devils Backbone' too.
Also i enjoyed 'Skinned deep' it's pretty low budget, and some scenes drag, but is pretty bizarre, apart from the plate throwin dwarf theres also some guy with a giant brain and the bloke from the cover with an animal trap mouth. Not to be taken seriously and i'd recommend a few beers while you watch it.:)

Decided to watch Paul tonight (even though it's on Film4 at 9, least I don't have to put up with the ads!), forgot how funny it was

These oldies but goldies arrived from a French collector today.

Eternal Combat, An (1984) (Mei Ah)
In the Line of Duty 5 - Middle Man (1991) (Universe)
Righting Wrongs (1986) (Universe)

Wrongs has 2 different versions of the film btw (seems this is the only release who has both).
