I know, I have it myself, but this edition has the correct aspect ratio and different extras

That's why I bought it. I also have the US two disc Blu-ray release, but the steelbook has much better artwork.

I'm tempted to buy it anyway, might give me another incentive to get a region free player, that and the new Halloween collection, that I'm trying my hardest not to read up on due to it being locked to A :/

I won't be buying it! I already have 1-3 (35th Anniversary Steelbook, Universal release with 'Terror in the Aisles', and Scream Factory release respectively) and do not care for the other sequels or Zombie's remakes at all. An easy pass for me. :nod:

I do have that Evil Dead steel winging its way to me though.

I also own Halloween 1-3 on Blu-ray but, aside from Halloween H20, don't own the others on DVD, let alone Blu-ray, so a purchase makes perfect sense for me.
