Soldier Blue is indeed a cracker on Optimum disc, however there will always be rumors that the film was censored by the studio before it got to the MPAA, tho strong in it's 'uncut form' rumors abound that scenes of the Indian Chief being decapitated and soldiers dancing with his severed head and an old Indian being disembowled never made it to the final release, grim stuff indeed for a 1970 U.S. film. when you watch the final slaughter some shots do seem to end just as it builds to a reveal where others linger on the aftermath and carnage. But still a cracking western.
