Got 2 more discs in the post today, both from Germany. Airwolf: The Movie (the blu-ray is said to look no better than the dvd), and Hard Rain (for having a few extras).

This arrived this morning, much to my delight! Always a joy discovering a movie you've never heard of from this period, especially one with such cultish qualities. From the blurb I can't imagine not liking it; someone buried alive, Death Valley worm farmers, all-female cult gun runners, etc. I have a feeling I'll be ordering a lot more stuff direct from Vinegar Syndrome. Their Graduation Day BD for a start, as it features a commentary by the Hysteria Lives guys, and that'll be fun. I can't imagine 88 Films' edition having that, sadly. |

Boosted my HMV points by buying the following. Satantango - I've loved every Bela Tarr film I've seen, although a running time of 419 minutes might be a challenge. Knife In The Water Frenzy I.D White Heat The Strange Colour Of Your Body's Tears Amer. |

Stephen, when you get a chance to try it out I'd be very interested in your opinion of the transfer of this especially in comparison to the UK release |

Just got in, no CH BD from Diabolik, not surprising considering it was still in New York on Thursday, but my steelbook of Maniac Cop has arrived. Opened it to check for the Golden Ticket, no such luck And, I'm all out of steelbook bags, so I've had to carefully add it to the rest on my shelf
