John carradine is great as the writer being introduced to the monster club, Vincent price hams it up and is great as he introduces the stories and we have the picture illustrating monster lineage which i've always really loved.:) Attachment 142708
The 3 stories are good, A creepy lost village filled with ghouls, a son who's father is a vampire starring Donald Pleasance(who is very entertaining in this) and the one that always freaked me out as a kid, featuring a Shadmock, a sad creature who has a devastating whistle that you really don't want to hear.
It's a film i used to watch every time it was on TV as a kid, so in spite of the dodgy monsters in the actual club i love it.:pop2:
damn couldn't get the picture to come out bigger, but you get the idea.
Actually i've just decided to put it on.;) |
