Doomwatch is excellent Trebor.

If you haven't seen it before it may take a couple of viewings before you get to this conclusion.

Interested to know the A/V quality of The Werewolf vs Vampire Woman.

Ordered the 'Shivers' steelbook - looking forward to this release so much. Haven't been keeping up with the news lately, are Arrow releasing more early Cronenberg? A 'Rabid' BD, from Arrow, would be awesome.

They have indeed announced Rabid for a future release - no details as yet though.

As this was only £11.99 yesterday in HMV, i decided to finally pick this up.
I'm still not impressed by the tampering with the special effects but at least they are quite subtle. Still think there should have been the option to view the original version as well. However, this is a great looking transfer and the audio is a major step-up from the dvd.

There's a shop called Cash Solutions in the town centre, I hardly ever check cause the electronics are vastly overpriced (mid range 20 year old CD players at £49.99:lol::lol: no thanks) but I glanced through the window and saw the tell-tale blue spines of BD's on the shelf so for a laugh I went in and.... these were £1.99 each!!! (cheaper even than local charity shops) others were 2.99-3.99, so looks like another regular visit.

The same can't be said for their Hammer Network releases, though.
All £18 each! :O
