Recieved my French Alien Anthology BD set today. The facehugger on the front is very, very cool indeed. Had a quick look at Aliens and it looks superb.

Watched my BU Blu of Maniac last night.

I was worried that it might be too bright after a trip to HD, but was glad to see it retained the dank grit of the DVD, whilst at the same time sharpening the image somewhat: Gotta dig that HD crimson blood.

Halloween - great transfer to blu-ray, can't imagine the film looking better than this. The 'Cut above the rest' documentary is pretty comprehensive as well.

Just bought Angel Heart on blu-ray. Can't wait to see it. Love those voodoo films. My favourite probably being Serpent and the Rainbow. Just need the HDMI cable to hurry up and arrive in time! Who can help being a bit creeped out when DeNiro is playing the devil!!

ps. Always wanted to watch sleepaway camp, i'm constantly on the lookout for the boxset in cex stores.

loved the first film, wasn't fussed on the second and have yet to watch the third and return...

they have it on amazon for less than 10.00..
