seventh seal.jpg to all a good night.jpg

Two marketplace acquisitions. Shows it pays to scan the Criterion listings each day. First Godzilla and uninvited cheapies, now got seventh seal £12.98. No idea if its better than the uk release, but at that price worth a punt.

To all a good night is a film i've only ever seen in really dodgy bootlegs so it will be nice to check out a decent print. It has a bad rep but I always enjoyed it.

I've never heard of it. Is it a slasher?

Yep, a Christmas one. The only film David Hess directed (apart from a half hour documentary on the history of the steel drum. Really.)

It got one or two bad reviews but is fairly enjoyable and better than its rep suggests. Certainly another one for the xmas viewing alongside silent night deadly night and black christmas.

Totally agree. It's not as bad as people make out. Slasher fans will get something out of it i think.
