I was thinking of getting this book The Haunted World of Mario Bava, but can't afford the hardback, would the pictures in the paperback still be off good quality?

It's the exact same book, same type of printed paper, just with a soft cover.
I bought it earlier this year and it's a cracking book

Abel at his height, Walken is all broody badass, IMHO King is a great New York gangster flick right up there with the best. In fact all three of yours are top notch.

Got these two on BD, big G was a late present and Land was a silly cheap £2 in CEX with the cards and slipcase intact.

I love Land of the Dead. It's almost a comfort movie for me.

At the moment i rate it second behind Day of the Dead in Romero's Dead library.

I like it too, but it's nowhere near as good as the original trilogy, especially Dawn (of which I know you're a big fan )

I also like Land of the Dead and its fairly overt social commentary, but Night, Dawn and Day are better films with more longevity.
