Stallone grunts like a castrated something or other in most of his films. I suspect it just doesn't work with a character that already had a strong fanbase and expectations.

*Like a bad ntsc/pal conversion with murky grey everywhere when things get dark.

Having just seen it I have to agree with you. Whilst by no means is it unwatchable you are right about the colours looking muted as for the contrast it makes it look like your viewing it through a thin gauze. For a bluray release this should look stunning but its more DVD quality really.

Finally relented and bought some TT. Fright night is finally worth the price now it has the bonus material, the other is a solid well crafted horror that i've been meaning to pick up for a while.

Both will eventually be available on ebay at £5000 each. Special deal if cash in hand from the van behind the pub! ;)

You'll have to lower your Amazon prices to come in line with them.

That'll be Stuart. He can get any films you want, just don't ask where they come from!

Found this dirt cheap on Zaavi. No idea how it holds up to the books but worth a punt I suppose.
