It's not a great transfer but it's nowhere as bad as City of the Living Dead which never seemed to get much criticism at all.

I have the Arrow and Blue underground City of the living deads. Both have snowstorms going on. A lot of the early italian releases have issues like this courtesy of the Italian labs. I suspect that's one of the reasons Arrow stopped buying them. Naturally the distributors get the blame, but if they're buying a ready done HD master and it looks like that what are they supposed to do, not release it and lose the initial investment. This is why I'm not as unhappy as some about the decrease in Italian genre pictures getting releases and the ones that are getting released appear to be in-house restorations. I would rather be patient and let Arrow get the best available release of nightmare city for example and I'm glad 88 films are properly restoring Burial Ground and Zombie Holocaust.

Anyhoo this turned up...

Just got a slew of crap (with a few treasures).

First up. 20 replacement cases for those disgusting US blu-ray eco-cases. They were 1€ each. Buying actual cases is a lot more expensive, due to insane shipping costs. These were shipped to me for 0€.

Second pic is the most quality one of the bunch. Wolfcop, Witchfinder General, Wolf Creek, Phenomena, City of the Living Dead and Black Sunday are from Zavvi sales (took them ages to arrive, then they all turned up the same day!). Insidious Chapter 2, All is Lost & This is the End were 4.95€ each from CDON.com.

Third and fourth pic are a bunch of random stuff that I got for 1-3€ from a local store, brand new. With the exception of Alice Cooper set being 6.99€, Californication S5 9.95€ and Saint Row IV 14.95€

Brutally Live and Welcome To My Nightmare are both recommended if you have not seen them before

WTMN is from 1975, and was groundbreaking in the staging - it wast he first time that such a multi-media presentaion had ever been performed before

Brutally Live, from 2000, if very theatrical, and a personal favourite of mine
keirarts and VeZius like this.

Received "The Terror" and "Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky" on Blu today. Released by HD Cinema and Media Blasters, respectively.

I got it in the Zavvi sale for £7.99 - they had quite a few Odeon titles at that price. Unfortunately, they don't seem to have it in stock anymore.
