If they adapt red dragon hope they dont cop out on Will Graham's fate like the films did.

Criterion's SCANNERS arrived yesterday so gave it a quick look. didn't notice any great difference between it and the second sight release in terms of picture.. It has some decent extras as well so at just over a tenner was worth the double dip.

There is a scene in 'Manhunter' which uses the Iron Butterfly song 'Inna Gadda Da Vida' to great effect

I couldn't find the scene on YouTube, so here is the Slayer version instead (but I'm sure no one will complain about this substitution)!

Had a bit of a bargain in CEX. Picked up 88 Films 'Doll Squad' for 25p as well as Arrowdrome's 'Red Scorpion' for 50p. I also snagged 'The Baader Meinhof Complex' for a quid and 'The Informers' for 25p.

In HMV I bought Linklater's 'Before' trilogy, should score me some brownie points from the missus. I also picked up 'Wrong Turn 5' after enjoying 1-4 in varying degrees.

I'm complaining, as the Slayer version is awful.

Yeah, they were pretty much forced into it for the Less Than Zero soundtrack, and they think it's shite too, as do I, who's been a Slayer fan for over 20 years!

That's the first time I've heard it (and it'll be the last).
