… And that's why it becomes a slight addiction, and the film fan becomes a collector.

The Women in Prison set is really good, even if I'm not sure about the 'Mr Skin Presents' banner at the top. I watched Paddington and The Imitation Game for the second time over the last two days and thoroughly enjoyed both again.

Good to know, thanks Nos.

I used to have the heavily butchered UK version of the Women in Prison set but got rid due to the cuts.

I saw this on Amazon for £6 second hand from Zoverstocks so snapped it up as i think it's now long since deleted.

I'm going to watch The Imitation Game tonight. Paddington feels like an ideal Easter Sunday evening choice to me.

£6 is a terrific price for the set especially because it is, as you said, out of print.

After watching The Imitation Game, it's worth watching the three featurettes as they add a lots of historical context about the events in the film. It's a shame Paddington doesn't come with much in the way of additional material, mostly short puff pieces and publicity material. The film, however, is an absolute treat.

Just a heads up in case anyone's at all interested. The Barrel release of last house on dead end street seems to have dropped somewhat. £15.97 at time of writing.

Not a film i've seen. Is it any good Keirarts?

keirarts 28th March 2015 10:57 PM

Depends,

It splits it's audience right down the middle.
gag's opinion seems to echo more than a few peoples opinion on the film. It's a grimy low-budget look at a group of snuff film makers that's not as outright nasty as some people have made out but its an interesting curio and worth seeing.
I know there are some fans on here who do like it and thought I'd point out its a bit cheaper than the £30+ it was going for previously.

It is excellent Dem, scummy, weird, and a highlight of 70s underground horror.
