On the 31st of August, Casablanca Video closed their doors after being in business in Santa Fe,New Mexico for 36 years.

On the 30th and the 31st the DVDs were being sold for a dollar a disc, My Wife and I bought 277 discs.

I hit every section in the store except Drama and Adult.

It is going to take me a couple of days to input the movies into the Film Aficionado website and compile a list to post in this thread.

Just pre-ordered Spasmo and Blastfighter while they're £8.99 on Amazon, I've noticed that 88 Films are selling for £12.99 in HMV now so If I can save £8.00 I'll take it!

Not seen either, but numbered spines... you know what I mean

If you like those you really should check out some of his other 90's Cat III films.

Here's a few easy to find recommendations:

Taxi Hunter (Discotek US)
The Untold Story 2 (Mei Ah HK)

The sequel is "a bit different" but still a lot of fun and both are decidedly Cat III.

[edit] seems Untold Story 2 isn't that easy to find anymore.

They're both £8.99 on HMV's site so I've just ordered them from there as HMV always ship before Amazon so I'll likely get them a few days before... plus Amazon has its £20 minimum order policy so they've lost a sale because of that too.

Some new arrivals. Surprised how cheap the blu's were to be honest.
All English friendly except for Fatal Termination (Austrian version = best dvd worldwide) and City Hunter (only blu with original mono track) which are Cantonese with German subs (no problem here).
I only got the old Universe dvd of Seventh Curse for the collection really as I already own the newer anamorphic Joy Sales dvd.

Untold story is a dear one to find as well. the Thai release was £7.99 scouring ebay and amazon other versions were £20+ and the Thai one is advertised as uncut. I've found somone selling a VCD of untold story 2 but it's price made me shit blood.
