There's also a few erotic thrillers starring the likes of Deborah Shelton, Tracy Scoggins and Sally Kirkland which will also be getting a viewing. Not to mention the rather wonderful D.N.A. and Chameleon sci-fi actioners.

The massive built in cupboard these came out of looks like a bombs hit it now. It'll have to wait until tomorrow now before i attempt to restore order as i have films to watch.

Seen them all. Enjoyed Chameleon. Not sure if they ever released Chameleon 2 & 3 over here.

This week's new arrivals.

I'm intrigued by Deadly Manor as it's from Jose Ramon Larraz - the director of Vampyres (1974)

Mixture of charity shop, CEX and HMV.
(unbelievably the hellraiser stuff was charity shop. some poor sods collection probably chucked out by the missus. All mine for a fiver.)

I agree with Hellraiser sequels being garbage (I loathe #2 and think #3 is just a about passable) but I really like what they were trying to do with Inferno; with the very unlikable main character is stuck in his own, personal (and deserved!) hell which is a more effective concept of endless suffering than a man with pins in his head chasing you about slasher style (i.e. what all the other sequels decended into).

They had the originals as well but I own them already. I agree non of them are great but want them for completion sake.

Don't listen to them Keirarts.

I actually enjoy them all. Even Hellworld. Watched them all loads of times. More than the third film to be honest.

Some people are far too picky. :tongue1:

...and some are just too easy to please! ;)

I do enjoy the Hellraiser sequels for the most part though (especially Part V for the reasons shel listed above). However Hellworld is pretty dire.

Still, I'd take a Hellraiser sequel over a Friday the 13th or Nightmare on Elm Street sequel most days of the week.
