I very briefly reviewed the finale to season 3 of Grimm in the tv thread. I rather enjoyed it. I was going to go onto another show but may well move straight to series 3 instead.

After finishing the commentaries on The Wire boxset, I was going to go onto one of the unwatched box sets mentioned in my previous post, but I decided to watch the latest (fourth) season of House of Cards instead. I'm four episodes in and it is brilliant so far, no doubt with plenty of twists and turns to come.
keirarts and trebor8273 like this.

Just had 'Doctor Who: The Complete 9th Series' - Amazon - £31:99 delivered

This was a surprise for 4 reasons

1: I ordered it when it was first announced as a pre-order, a few months ago
2: It was ordered from Amazon, as a basic purchase i.e not 'Amazon Prime' or 'Express Delivery' or anything like that
3: It isn't officially released until tomorrow - Monday 7th March
4: The postman brought it. Not a special delivery company (i.e DHL) but Pat himself. I didn't think Royal Mail made deliveries on Sunday!

I really enjoyed Dark Nature, Sam.

It's a moody slow burner, so don't expect thrills n' spills.

I've actually watched that one and also enjoyed it. The plot is fairly threadbare but it does build up quite nicely and there are some really nice shots of the Scottish Countryside (if that's a selling point for anyone! ). The gore effects are also quit convincing at times. I must admit to being slightly bemused by the ending though!! On a side note, I remember Troma putting this out on blu ray ... I can imagine there were some Troma completists scratching their heads at this one!

Might watch The Factory tonight as the concept (an Avengers-style team of historical serial killers) is hard to resist...

It's a good laugh, The Factory. I think Frankie Teardrop also rated it.
Sam, keirarts and Frankie Teardrop like this.
