I really like True Grit, not seen the Coen remake.
I really like The Ladykillers not seen the original though.
Maybe the Coens should remake The Searchers with Tom Wanks?

So long as no Marion Wayne in it. I just never rated him as an actor. Always preffered James Stewart, Clint Eastwood and Henry Fonda

I'm the same - never cared for Wayne.

Wayne wasn't really an actor. He just played himself. Which was great in True Grit or Rio Bravo. But not The Searchers. That required an actor. Oh and a plot, perhaps one with some actual searching.

Speechless! The Searchers is a classic.

So I'm told. Took me three attempts to get through it. Terrible film.

I'm feeling a double bill of The Searchers and Rio Bravo coming on here.

I went in to HMV Oxford Street on the way back home from work tonight for a browse and couldn't resist picking up the Burial Ground Blu for £8.99. There was so much good stuff in there I could've spent a whole lot more. Unfortunately though, I've had to limit my film buying due to a lack of money for my hobby.

Rio Bravo is excellent. John Wayne is great in that. [emoji106]
