Yes, the ABUK version is cut by almost a minute

It's still a good film tho

Unwatchable to some, perfectly acceptable to those with refined taste (like myself [emoji23]).

Is it good? That's okay then.

I didn't express myself very well in the last post. I meant unwatchable in a waxy style with all the grain removed.

Film grain doesn't bother me.But plastic Auton like faces do.

I have no idea, I don't own it. Yeah, I meant I don't mind the film grain either.

RE Showckwaves

It's grainy and it looks pretty good on this review, but I haven't bought the disc either

Me too - I just don't frequent the thread much. Dr. Who was over in 1987 as far as I am concerned. ;)

Forgive me, Mr. Eye

I hate transfer comparisons. I always find the blu looks better on some but not on others. This just seems to have been made brighter. I don't think it helps that the blu images are bigger than the dvd ones. When it comes to comparisons It's obvious the blu is going to look better than the dvd though. I'm pleased they kept the film grain and didn't attempt to reduce it.

:tsk: What about Remembrance of the Daleks, Battlefield, Ghost Light, The Curse of Fenric and Survival? As good as anything that came in the 24 years previous.
