Scorpion are fantastic. I cannot recommend their release of MORTUARY any higher, their prints are usually great and for my money always worth a flutter. (aside from mark of cain/thrill kill double bill, the movies are total crap)

Also it seems after a week or so ZAAVI have decided to ship FRANKENHOOKER AND RED SCORPION, about bloody time! Shouldent complain too much, they were only 8.95 each on their monday deals!

Return to Horror High

Missed out on it originally at Poundland but thought it might turn up eventually in CEX.
Almost didn't get it as it says copyright 1996 on the back- and I don't do 90's slashers.

Handyman Joe 25th July 2012 03:37 PM

Man Riffifi's a great movie. I saw it yesterday for the first time and was blown away, totally gripping. If the actor playing Tony wasn't genuinely ill during the shooting of this it must go down as one of the greatest performances ever. These Arrow Academy releases are becoming addictive, The Tin Drum next methinks. Would be amazing if they got the rights to Les Yeux Sans Visage. Any word on future releases btw?

Demoncrat 26th July 2012 09:35 AM

Still nae sign of The Daemons. Quick enough to take the £ though. As it's the same shape as my normal order, how they can use "undeliverable" as an excuse.....:mmph::pray::(

Scyther 26th July 2012 02:46 PM

Paid a pretty penny ($40) for Code Red's Exterminators of the Year 3000, and also ordered St. Clair's Sword and Sorcery collection with D'Amato's The Blade Master together with Scorpion's updated Ator-The Fighting Eagle.

My copy of the book is falling apart! Can I recommend "Dream No Evil". A highly flawed film but a work of near weird beard genius. The Psychotronic release of the film is a double bill with "Delinquent School Girls" a comedy home invasion rape flick set in a girls school!

"Mondo Keyhole" is well worth a punt, one of the best 60s sexploitation roughies I've seen. I really liked the nudie "Mermaids of Tiburon" and the overly ripe voodoo/musical/dance/melodrama/slave flick "Yambao", a film that looks so hot and steamy throughout you can almost smell it.

Once to check it out then again to do the snaps. :woot:
