Some very selective recent buys as I'm still watching my spending.

Just bought the entire series of Seinfeld for £39.99, I've wanted it for a while but it was always north of £60.

As for B_E liking this post, i doubt he's seen Jonah Hex.

Never seen The Wicker Tree, but I enjoyed Jonah Hex. I have to laugh whenever someone says a film is terrible, or even the worst film they've ever seen. I can get enjoyment out of anything I watch. They're films. Entertainment, and I'm entertained when I watch them. That's why other peolple's opinions of films mean nothing to me when I'm deciding to watch something (or not).

It's a film i felt got worse the longer it went on. By the looks of it many on here agree.

However you're right, the only way to form an opinion is to see for yourself.

I liked The Wicker Tree by the way. That's why everyone brings it up when they jokingly take a dig at me. My avatar is from the film.

I remember watching The Wicker Tree with rock bottom expectations and conversely being pleasantly surprised. Had I seen it with an open mind, I would have probably been really disappointed.

Rather than spending £120 on Amazon I paid £8 last Saturday on Wow-HD and picked up this. Obviously it's only 3 of his films but it's a safer blind buy.

While the disc is Region A locked, it's one of those which lets you watch it if you hit the Disc Menu button on your remote.

The Wicker Tree isn't boring, and that's the worst thing a film can be.

A set I like and have seen a few times – happy viewing!

I normally try to watch films with no expectations and as open a mind as possible but, in the case of The Wicker Tree, it was almost impossible to escape the negativity.
