Fopp has a big 88 films sale on. However ended up buying two Mr Bongo releases. Then went into HMV with the intention of buying Batman V superman (to see if the directors cut makes it less shit) and 10 Cloverfied lane (a genuinely great little movie). Tale of Tales however was a no brainer and I decided to see if I can get into solaris this time round as previously I found it long and pretentious.

Hourglass is one of my favourite films - a real odyssey into fantasy and the bizarre... Enjoy!

Tale of Tales is on my 'to buy' list, but I'll probably wait until it hits the £6-£8 mark as these AE Blus usually do. Solaris is indeed long and could very well be considered pretentious, but it's also a beautiful, sublime, haunting, mesmerizing, thought-provoking masterwork... although I realise that these opinions may not be shared by many!

Was in town with my mum and she hates me buying films, and i had no money on me just a spare £1, so i managed to buy The Wrestler, and samurai zombie 50p each from charity shop without her noticing.

Trip to HMV and CEX (to use up my exchange vouchers) and Stalker was waiting for me when I got home, Amazon, I pre-ordered when it was a little over £8. Jaws collection from Zoom for £13.50 and Jane Eyre from Music Magpie for £3. Has anyone seen The Last Showing? It was cheap but doesn't look entirely promising...

Picked up 'Southbound' on Blu-ray. My HD copy arrived this morning. Hats off to Amazon for sending out a second copy, as my first order got lost in the post.
