It's certainly not a bad film, and it seems the critics, particularly the American ones, highly rated it, but I was not overly impressed.

However me and animation is similar to Bizarre_Eye and Marvel films. Have to admit i do quite fancy the Peanuts Movie though.

The characters were all really well realised, but I didn't like the way so much was shown (and heard from) the little red-haired girl (as she is never even pictured in the comic strips), nor the elongated, and too frequent, Red Baron sequences.

This week's new arrivals.

Ator was pictured as the Scorpion region one release, however Music Magpie sent me the UK Hollywood version. When i complained (nicely) they refunded me the full amount and allowed me to keep or dispose of the above version as i wished.

That Better Tomorrow version has a very poor transfer/P.Q. at the the start (must be damaged elements) but gets better, Rin is in my to watch pile (a retro sleaze-fest style anime)
keirarts likes this.

been a big fan of peanuts strips for years , turned the film off after 20 mins as it was just too jolly. The strips are sometimes tinged with sadness and the cartoons used to reflect that, but this version as good ol' Charlie Brown would say " I cant stand it , I just cant stand it"
