Finally picked up the Scream Factory blu-ray of The Thing. I'm mighty tempted to make this the first one that I haven't reversed the cover to the origonal poster art. The new one is pretty great. And also decided to upgrade my Mimic dvds to the blu-ray. Haven't seen the Director's Cut of the first film, so not sure if the extras minutes make much of a difference.

purchases

sainsburys seems to be getting a lot of cult /horror blus in the last few months in large stores. Everyone has surely heard about their arrow range, got the universal monsters boxset for a measly 15 pounds, and assault on precinct 13 blu for a tenner, not the version with cd/postcards though. They also had the christine blu with possibly a different cover for a tenner.

They hated each other.

More venom between the two than the snake ever mustered.
