Every single one a blind buy. I've never seen any of 88's Asia line so thought i'd give Hex a go.
Some fantastic pick-ups there Dem, especially The Cremator and Le Cercle Rouge - you have some great viewing ahead of you.

Dogtooth is arty-farty so I'll be interested to read what you make of that one.

Hex isn't the best of the Shaw horrors... you would have been better off picking up Black Magic or Seeding of a Ghost in my opinion, as although whilst I do enjoy it, it is a little padded and disjointed in places.

I could have sworn you'd seen The Nightcomers before too...

I have a Dutch dvd, had it for years. But i like the film and couldn't resist the artwork, for only £3 it was fine. Plus the print may be an improvement...not that the Dutch one is poor.

I think i'll have to get Hex watched tonight then.

Half way through the first film ,and tbh the actors and acting are shit , dull character and not very convincing ...shame because the actual film itself is OK .

The Lobster is really good too.

Both films channel their humour down a dark, warped pathway but in a very 'matter of fact' manner.
