Bloody Friday was paid for AGES ago, The Hunger, Performance, It's Only The End Of The World and Madame de... were paid for with a £50 Pure Points reward voucher, Body Double and part of Killer Workout were paid for with a £15 of Skull Points from 88 Films' webstore. And The Man Who Fell To Earth was in a sale. Talk about frugal! Can't get over how lovely the Bloody Friday KickStarter Edition is. I genuinely thought they'd sent me a higher tier reward by mistake. I didn't realise the Skull points on 88 Films' site didn't discount shipping, so had to get something else to use up all of my voucher, and Killer Workout was only £5. They have loads of recent DVD releases for £5 (or did at the time I bought that). Can't wait to check out Inquisition, I love that art. I actually have a couple more things (my Vinegar Syndrome half-way to Black Friday sale order arrived this week) but just haven't had time to take photos. So much stuff I want but have held off on due to saving for FrightFest. I hope it's worth it and it's a good year for quality. |

But have they wasted an opportunity with the box set book? It's a real disappointment and waste of time. I was expecting something along the lines of the other booklets in Arrow releases - something full of pictures and information about both HGL and the films he made, but instead I get something that looks like a Beano annual with stupid games and puzzles |

4 Attachment(s) This weeks new arrivals. First four 2 for £16 at Morrisons, three cheapies from MM and Atlantis from Amazon. |
2 Attachment(s) I also got the Doctor Who - The Three Doctors collectors set from Amazon. (Hangs head in shame at buying toys ) I've loved the Gell Guards since i first saw them on Weetabix cards in the 70's. Once i found out in the latest Doctor Who mag special on Toys and Games that these figures were no longer being produced i took the plunge. |
