I hope they plan on shipping it soon!

I know I've bought it, but I certainly wouldn't pay £40 for the mediocre artwork it's sporting.

Same offer goes for anyone else who plans to get any in the offer.

I think Amazon have the best deal so far with their Blu-rays being £16.49

PM if you wish, no hard feelings if you'd rather not.

I didn't own any of these, so I ordered The Aristocats, The Lion King, 101 Dalmatians and The Lady and The Tramp.

I'm not a big fan of the artwork either but I bought this for the disc and the promise of better picture quality.

Ordered Breaking Bad season 3 from blubastard a week ago for £23, and it still hasn't shipped.
Earlier today I ordered Breaking Bad season 3 and season 4 from amazon.de for £27, and they've shipped already.

It'll make a nice addition to the other versions of the film I have.

You can't pick up many Blu-Ray discs for that price! I'll let you know what I think of the movie, might stick it on tonight.

I got a sealed copy of BLOW with johnny depp on blu-ray for 50p at the weekend off a car boot. It is possible to get blus cheap if you look about.

Just picked up these 3 recently from Cash Converters for 99p each:

Coffin Joe collection

Nosferatu@Cult Labs 27th September 2012 09:56 AM

My brother was in That's Entertainment yesterday and texted me some of the titles which were in the two four £5 section, so I vicariously bought these BDs:

The Task
Prowl
Fertile Ground
The Drummond Will
Holy Rollers
Blue Valentine

Blue Valentine for £2.50? Me wants

Paul@TheOverlook 27th September 2012 11:04 AM

It's a great film. HOLY ROLLERS isn't bad, either.

This just arrived, the result of a drunken unknown bid on ebay. Never seen it before so I'm looking forward to checking it out shortly. Also received my rental of Beneath The Darkness from Lovefilm, gonna save that one for tonight I think.

Can't say I've ever heard of Derranged. Tell us what it's like once you've watched it, please :)

I enjoyed it thought it was pretty good and worth a buy I need to buy it haven't it yet, if you like true stories you will enjoy it even more

If its uncut there a scene where he digs up a dead body cuts head off and scoops brains out, if I'm aware that's the only scene cut and difference between cut and uncut version,

It's based on the real life crimes of Ed Gein, who if you don't already know inspired such films as Psycho, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Silence of the Lambs and obviously Ed Gein.

Deranged (1974)

Yeah, that scene has just been on, only part of the transfer that looks bad. It's missing from the R1 double bill with Motel Hell, although that release is cheaper

Should be interesting!

I believe he killed people in his basement and ate parts of them in the 50's (if he's the right killer).

Deranged (1974)

Ed Gein is the most portrayed real life person in films inspired or got idea from,

Rik 27th September 2012 12:26 PM

That's right, he was one sick puppy. I've had a morbid fascination with serial killers ever since I was about 11 and have loads of books about Gein, without sounding too weird he's always been my favourite

Deranged can be bought in the MGM Midnite Movies range as a double disc with Motel Hell, if you want a copy Argentofan.

keirarts 27th September 2012 12:41 PM

I really like DERANGED, there should be lots of behind the scenes material on the german disc as well. I just own the mgm double bill.

keirarts 27th September 2012 12:43 PM

Watched Tim burtons DARK SHADOWS last night, totally daft but I suppose thats the point, thought it was really enjoyable, certainly Burtons best movie for a while.

Blockbuster employees - any idea why I couldn't trade in my Lynch box set? The system wouldn't recognise it at all!

That happens a lot, the computer people who do these things got massively culled when BB were trying to save cash, I find a lot of quality blu's are not on system, were supposed to phone operations and request they add it to the sysytem... takes about a day!

I used to have about a dozen serial killer T- shirts.

my favourite serial killer was Ted Bundy

creaming jesus bbq - YouTube

Jane's Addiction - Ted, Just Admit It (Hammerstein Ballroom) - YouTube

I also have a fascination with John Wayne Gacy

They were two I haven't seen but bought on reputation alone and, for £2.50, you can't really go wrong.
