I think I only paid about £75 for my MR player from Multi-Region Magic, decent Panasonic machine that doesn't have any problems playing any disc I throw at it, only minor downside is having to manually switch regions for blu ray, but that's hardly worth grumbling about. And, when it stopped switching a few months back I emailed them and they talked me through sorting it out (I'd accidentally changed one of the settings), great service

I think all the ICOS mods you have to open the tray and press 1, 2 or 3 to change the regions, that's easy enough :)

Cheapest one now is around £130 which isn't too bad, but as before, is it like opening Pandora's Box

A lot of things I don't buy because I can't play them, so getting a multi-region BD player means that isn't a problem any more, therefore I'll end up buying even more things than I currently do

I already have a watch pile higher than me

I currently have 103 new to me horror films to watch.

That doesn't take into account about 40 tv series and 70 or so non-horrors.

I only ordered this yesterday in the zoom sale so it arriving today was a surprise!

If you spent over £12 on a sale box set you could choose one of 12 DVDs so 10 Cloverfield Lane was for free, it's a fantastic film which I saw on the cinema last year!

And yeah, it's tiny!

I guess it's Sony BDP-S6500 as I can't find anything with Sony BDP-6500?

Is it region free out of the box without any modding?? If so, I need to buy this.
