Tn I don't really know much about Pedro Almodovar so any info would be appreciated .

But for a boxset of 5 films for £6 thought what the heck its a blind buy .

Pedro Almodóvar is a great filmmaker, a man who quite often makes films with female leads, films which embrace the transgressive or look at a difficult area of Spain's past (similar to Guillermo del Toro in that respect)

That is a really boxset and a fine introduction to his work, with Bad Education, Talk to Her and All about My Mother as modern day masterpieces, and the other two (Live Flesh and Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down!) only on the level below.

What Nos said, it's an excellent boxset and one which I also have! All About My Mother is my favourite from it.

I bought it in 2006 from HMV as a blind buy for what I thought was a bargain at £15.99. Since then, I've gone on to buy a load of other Pedro Almodóvar's movies such as Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, Matador, Volver, Broken Embraces and The Skin I Live in.
