Well some Neo dvd's are English friendly and have removable French subs like Killer Crocodile 1+2.
If you want to know which ones are English friendly just ask and I'll try to help you out. :)
Neo's having a sale of their older titles btw (at their website).

The Commando Blu-ray is uncut, just a shame it isn't the director's cut :pout:

You'll have to tell us what you think about The French Connection transfer when you watch it Reaper. There was a lot of controversy regarding William Freidkin's decision to completely alter the colour of film.To tell the truth,it didn't bother me,but some people have said it looks like a bad colourized film :fear:

What a shit interviewer. Typical up the arse of the industry Hollywood whore rubbish.

He let Freidkin waffle on endlessly about the completely wrong topic.
That a film is cleaned up, repaired, mistakes fixed on DVD/Blu-ray was not the issue here. Yet he lets Freidkin bang on about restored paintings and such as if restoration is the issue...well it's not. It's change!

How come this simperingly drab suit didn't stop Freidkin when he went around yet again about restoring a Rembrandt and how no one would moan about that?
Well no Mr Freidkin, no one would moan about you restoring the painting...But they may ****ing well moan if you decided to change its colours!
Two entirely separate issues.

IF Friedkin is right about these CHANGES (and judging by the remarks on the review of the disc about bleeding colours and houses now turning into the same colour as the sky, he is not right) then so be it...But not everyone will agree and he will have to indeed defend such massive changes in such a well loved, classic, movie.
A movie that is also one of the only two films his entire career exists on I might add.

And bleating on about restorations to defend the completely different topic of changes is not the way to do it, or to convince people.

And what about the weasel reply from the interviewer about the Blu transfer, when he was asked what he thought of it? 'Eventually he squeezed out a 'It looked good yeah'. What did? The transfer? or the thing he was really asking you about...the changes?
Yuck! Typical 'E'ntertainment channel style interview.

Cheers bdc - will do! :)

TBH, it's mainly the gialli releases I would be interested in, which I'm guessing, would be Italian language with French subs, or both Italian and French language... :ohwell:
