Mine hasn't arrived either, so I think I'll contact Sainsbury's and see if they will send a replacement or tell me to wait.

I emailed them on Tuesday in reply to one off them detailing a problem with the shipping, they said they're looking into it but I haven't heard anything since

Only seen it once a very long time ago so I can't remember anything other than the 'ear necklace'

Fortunately, I haven't e-mailed Sainsbury's as my set was delivered about half an hour ago – it looks really cool.

So they are sending them out then, I'll email them again, they've got until the postman has been on Saturday otherwise I'm cancelling and going elsewhere, I don't mind waiting normally but seeing as other people have received theirs, its annoying me now

If you're after it immediately HMV have it instore for £50 which is £45 with your student discount so only a couple of quid more than online. Their prices can vary store to store but might be worth a look

I looked for it in the Bradford shop today and they didn't have it in otherwise I would've bought it. I've emailed then AGAIN so I'll wait for a reply before I do anything

This was the first film I ever saw at the cinema so I will definitely be getting a copy at some point.

Do have a soft spot for Rocky Ivy. Remember watching it at the cinema when I was a wee nipper of about 12/13. Went to see it 'cause the talk in the playground was all about "Rocky fights a robot"

Still not sure whether I was happy or disappointed when I found out it wasn't a robot. Probably the former as I still watch it whenever it's on TV. Gotta love the cheesey training montages with dodgy 80's hair rock.

I ordered that earlier this week too. I haven't seen it in years and remember it being oddly entertaining so am looking forward to revisiting it.

That's III but there is a flashback to it in IV too. I've been on that beach, btw. It's in Santa Monica, LA.

Did you get a chance to look at it yet.

Pete 4th October 2012 08:08 PM

Despite apparently being 1080i, the UK BD of THE CROW looks quite good.

SShaw 4th October 2012 08:15 PM

Pickedup Bon collection on Bluray and DVD's of The Devils Business, Harolds Going Stiff and Red Lights while I was in Bristol yesterday. I will probably pick up a copy of Theater Bizarre while I am in Hamburg tomorrow evening.

I never quite understood all the fuss about Jeepers Creepers. I actuly preferred the Second one.

Me too.

Rik 4th October 2012 10:05 PM

The second one is a bit creepy(no pun intended) when you know about Victor Salva's past, don't you think? I'm talking about the scene where The Creeper is perving over the jocks and licking his lips

I watched Black Swan few days ago and found it the most boring film ever.

Handyman Joe 5th October 2012 05:59 AM

Just to say the Lost In Translation blu-ray is the worst transfer I've seen in the format - a no-good lazy cash-in - I'm not being Mr Screenshot here, it really is crap, avoid at all costs.

I ordered the US BD as soons as it came out over there as it is one of the greatest films ever made :D and thought the transfer was decent enough. Not mind blowing and bursting off the screen (which would have been nice) but ok. Not sure if the UK BD differs transfer wise. Worst transfer I've come across is probably Miramax's release of THE QUIET AMERICAN.

darthelvis 5th October 2012 06:46 AM

I loved Black Swan but then again Portman is the hottest woman on the planet (besides my wife) so that may have swayed it for me.
