It was only magazines that I used to find in hedges!

The poor youth of today will never have that illicit thrill of finding a 'specialised' magazine in a bush having it to hand on your phone just isn't the same

Ordered a second-hand Star Wars original trilogy dvd boxset. I own the 3 films on blu-ray so only wanted to re-acquire this for the bonus disc.

Wanted a physical copy of the excellent 150 min Empire of Dreams documentary. Lucas would only offer new extras with each subsequent home media release, nothing would be repeated, so this fairly comprehensive documentary didn't make it onto the blu-ray set.

There's 90 mins on Lucas' origins and the first film, 30 mins on Empire Strikes Back and another 30 mins on Return of the Jedi. I should imagine that almost all Star Wars fans have a great deal of respect for this documentary, which has a lot of behind-the-scenes footage and insightful interviews.

Default slayer

Gave the slayer a second chance after finding it pretty dull on first watch. Second time (possibly third as I may have seen part of the vipco version many moons ago) I think it's a bit misleading the film been lumped in with the mutilator and the burning because despite certain slasher tropes it's a different kind of beast , It takes its time and the island setting is very atmospheric , Although I do find the heroine's haunted Chucky doll appearance in the final showdown more creepy than the slayer itself.

I wish you wouldn't post games with your movies purchases, Treb. You spoil posts with them. At least for me as i couldn't give a rats ass for game purchases and tend to flick over posts when there are seemingly games involved.

That's just me though.
